Dear readers,
It is an honour for me to welcome you today to the world of Atelier Wittmann

Let's start at the beginning and find out who Arnaud Wittmann really is. And who better than me, his wife, to tell you this story.

Arnaud Wittmann, the great master jeweller and designer

an extraordinary man

Arnaud witttmann with whom I have been lucky enough to share over thirty years of life.

It is with a heart full of pride that I invite you to discover the extraordinary man behind this new adventure of Atelier Wittmann – a jewellery brand born of tradition, but also of a shared dream: to create jewellery that symbolises art, passion and craftsmanship.

A passion forged over time and generations

Maison de greef

Arnaud belongs to a precious line of Brussels jewellers: Maison De Greef. For six generations, this House has perpetuated the art of jewellery-making with rigour and love.

For Arnaud, the creation of ATELIER WITTMANN is much more than a family tradition; it is a personal achievement. Indeed, his career has been influenced by his passion for art and architecture, elements that inspire each of his creations.

After studying jewellery at London’s prestigious John Cass School of Art, Arnaud honed his skills, refining his techniques to become a master jeweller of recognised talent. Since then, he has worked with metals and precious stones as a sculptor works with marble, putting his talent to work to create a precise, elegant and highly personal vision.

A man of many facets: books, music, sport and family outings

passionate and curious

Beyond his workshop, where jazz often resounds, Arnaud is a passionate and curious man, always on the lookout for inspiration. For him, reading is a source of knowledge and a time for reflection, a way of nourishing his mind as much as his art.

He is also a great sportsman! Whether it’s cycling or running the Brussels 20km in aid of a charity, he always goes the extra mile, always driven by that spirit of generosity. He is just as passionate about the seabed and snow-capped mountains, diving and skiing. Sports that he practises with the enthusiasm of a child discovering a new world.

But, dear readers, Arnaud also has a soft spot for classic cars, and one of the things he’s most proud of is his Volkswagen Beetle. For him, every classic car is a work of art, a testimony to past know-how, a jewel that has stood the test of time. The mechanics of classic cars, their timeless charm and the care they require are reminiscent of the jeweller’s craft, where every detail counts, and where patience and precision are essential.

A loving father and the best of husbands

love and complicity

Arnaud is above all a father and a devoted husband. His greatest achievement is to have built a home filled with love and complicity. We've come a long way together, over thirty years already, and I hope our story will continue for a long time to come.

Every day I discover a new man who never ceases to surprise and amaze me. His devotion to our family and his love for our home and our children touch me deeply.

This first newsletter is an opportunity for me to share with you a little of Arnaud Wittmann's soul. Each piece of jewellery you see on our website has a story behind it, a small part of the passion that drives Arnaud. For him, creating jewellery is not just his job, it's a tribute to art and craftsmanship, a precious heritage that he wants to share with you. It's a promise of quality and authenticity, just like the man and jeweller he is.

I invite you to follow this new adventure... by discovering all the Atelier Wittmann collections in our new space at number 22 rue au Beurre in the heart of Brussels. Where each piece of jewellery we create is designed with the emotion it will bring to the wearer in mind.

Join us on this journey and let yourself be inspired by beauty, passion and daring, and become a privileged witness to this wonderful adventure.

With all my gratitude, I salute you until we meet again for the next newsletter.

Tania

The wife of Arnaud Wittmann, a dedicated and passionate designer.
