This photo was taken around 1905 in the courtyard of our ‘Artibijou’ workshop at Porte de Halle in Brussels. The workshop, emblematic of our family know-how, unfortunately had to close its doors after the war, due to lack of demand. My great-grandmother, Augusta De Bucq-Wittmann, ran this family business, which she had inherited from her father, Léon De Bucq. Her passion for craftsmanship and dedication to quality have left their mark on our family heritage and the memory of this workshop, which has now disappeared.
