Welcome to 2026! I hope the transition into this brand-new year was as sparkling for you as a freshly cut diamond.

Whether you danced until dawn, escaped to a cosy mountain chalet after a day on the slopes, or simply enjoyed the quiet magic of a winter’s evening at home, I hope your heart — and your jewellery box — is full.
As the last of the confetti is swept away and we settle into January’s crisp blue chill (and slightly ambitious New Year’s resolutions), this feels like the perfect moment to pause, take a deep breath, and look ahead to the adventures waiting for us.
Before we dive into the fun, a special word to some of our bravest readers. To those currently buried beneath textbooks, revision notes and far too much coffee — fuelled by determination and questionable sleep habits — we see you. Good luck with your exams! The finish line is closer than it feels, and very soon you’ll be trading pens and highlighters for celebrations… and perhaps a little sparkle to mark the moment.

And to my fellow January sale adventurers: if you returned home triumphant only to discover that “it doesn’t quite fit”, “it looked better in the shop”, or the classic “why did I think I’d wear this?”, don’t despair.
Some of the most beautiful things in life aren’t discovered in a bargain bin. They’re created slowly, thoughtfully, and with intention — designed to last a lifetime and to feel unmistakably you.
Which brings me neatly to a little New Year’s resolution. Let’s be honest: the world has felt rather heavy lately. Between relentless news cycles and the grey depths of winter, we could all use a touch more lightness. That is exactly what my husband Arnaud and I aim to create at ATELIER WITTMANN. Diamonds (white and coloured), unexpected shapes, true Belgian craftsmanship — all infused with creativity, personality and a touch of whimsy. Jewellery that turns everyday moments into occasions worth celebrating.
As we look at the calendar ahead, I’d like to suggest a playful little pact

To the ladies: let’s try to be especially kind to our partners this month. Perhaps a little less “constructive feedback” about the laundry, and a little more strategic patience. After all, we want them in a very generous frame of mind… and one never quite knows which shop they might wander into.
To the gentlemen: Valentine’s Day is approaching fast — faster than you think, and certainly faster than you’d like. Consider this your friendly (and very official, though not legally binding) reminder. There are many ways to say “I love you”, but few speak quite as eloquently as a beautifully crafted piece from ATELIER WITTMANN — a sparkler that says everything you can’t always put into words (including “thank you for putting up with me”).

Let’s make 2026 the year of “just because”. Because joy doesn’t need a calendar reminder, and waiting for a “good reason” is wildly overrated.
Life is short, and every milestone — big or small — deserves to be marked beautifully. If you’re the type who needs an excuse to visit us (personally, I believe any day is a perfectly valid one), here’s a little 2026 inspiration list:
